Dr. Angela Hu's journey is a testament to her unwavering dedication to the field of optometry. Born and raised on the vibrant east coast, she recently embraced a new chapter in her life, relocating with her family to the sun-drenched landscapes of Texas in 2019.
Her academic pursuits began at Rutgers University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors. Dr. Hu's passion for optometry led her to the illustrious halls of the Illinois College of Optometry, where she graduated with distinction, earning her doctoral degree cum laude in May 2016.
During her formative years, Dr. Hu embarked on a series of externship rotations at renowned institutions, including the Brooklyn Veterans Hospital, the Illinois Eye Institute, Omni Eye Services in Iselin, NJ, and Southeast Eye Specialists in Tallahassee, Florida. These experiences honed her clinical acumen and instilled in her a deep appreciation for the diverse facets of eye care.
Today, Dr. Hu stands as a beacon of expertise and compassion in the field, providing comprehensive eye exams that encompass primary care optometry, contact lens fitting, and the management of post-operative and ocular diseases. She takes great pride in forging genuine connections with her patients, taking the time to listen to their concerns and tailor her care to meet their individual needs.
